Paradise
‘Twas forever that found her, And never that saved her, It was snowing ignorance As she cried loneliness…
Springtime bloomed strength Fed by the rains of reason The sunlight grew fonder, As darkness began to dwindle.
Its inferno came slowly, And went without notice Until her thirst grew fierce For a life proved by an altruistic quench
…the colors became vivid, and darkness slowly snuck in, but this time she was ready… …time had erased it, and she was left with only herself and a beautiful certainty.
*this is a gaining strength over the course of a year's seasons, and the little life lessons that occur along the way |
